Pilates

Private Pilates Training   I am offering private Pilates and fitness training sessions that will be tailored to your goals, needs, and fitness level. Pilates and strength training done in combination with cardiovascular exercise will help you achieve your fitness goals. Regardless of your age, condition, or experience, my individualized training will work for you. During a session, I will lead you through a variety of exercises designed to progress in a seamless fashion advancing from one movement to another. Your training may include basic strength training exercises that use your body for resistance, or exercises that use a Pilates Reformer, Tower, Pilates EXO Chair or other equipment.  Benefits include better balance, improved posture, and you will feel energized and strong.

Who can do Pilates?  It is beneficial for men & women: young or old, athletic, sedentary, or in physical therapy. Regardless of your age, condition, or experience, our program will work for you.  

How does a session work?  During a Pilates session, Robin will lead you through a system of exercises designed to progress in a seamless fashion advancing from one movement to another on the reformer, EXO Chair, Tower, a mat or a combination of these. Pilates works to stretch overly tight muscles, strengthen weaker ones & balance movement patterns by balancing muscle groups.

Why?  This training emphasizes muscular-skeletal balance & focused breathing to give you a flat stomach, slender thighs, lean but muscular arms and a strong back. Your posture will be better & you will feel energized & strong.

Pilates Mat training is also available in your home. Pilates Mat exercises are a great complement to your fitness routine.  No special equipment required!
